Class AAAA volleyball: Buford advances to semis, North Hall knocked out

BUFORD -- The Buford girls volleyball team kept its season alive Saturday with a 3-0 sweep of St. Pius in the third round of the Class AAAA tournament.<br />

The Lady Wolves next will take on No. 1 seed Sandy Creek on Wednesday on the road in the semifinals.<br />
<br />
Things weren't as good for North Hall, however. The Lady Trojans fell to Woodward Academy 25-14, 25-14, 25-14 in the Elite 8 in Atlanta.<br />
<br />
For North Hall, Sydney Cleveland had eight kills and three digs and Lily Paschall had 13 assists and three digs. Julie Daniels added five kills and two blocks and Jen Mullican had four kills and four blocks for the Lady Trojans. <br />
<br />
Juliana Paschall had two blocks and Makenzie Bryant had eight digs for North Hall.<br />
<br />
The Lady Trojans finished the season with a solid 33-12 record.
