With just over a week left for early voting in Georgia, more than 206,000 ballots have been cast statewide, more than 4,000 of them in Hall County.<br />

These are the numbers issued by the Secretary of State's office a couple of days ago:<br />

Number of ballots cast: 206,674<br />
Number of ballots voted in person: 163,587<br />
Number of mail-in ballots returned: 43,087<br />
Number of mail-in ballots outstanding: 53,996<br />

County Elections Director Charlotte Sosebee followed up with these figures for Hall County:<br />

Total # voted Advance/Early Voting: 4,221<br />
Total # Absentee Ballots requested: 1,245 <br />
Total # Absentee Ballots received: 998<br />
Total # Absentee Ballots outstanding: 247<br />

In addition, the Secretary of State's office listed the five counties with the most ballots already cast:<br />

DeKalb: 15,255<br />
Cobb: 10,638<br />
Gwinnett: 9,916<br />
Henry: 5,963<br />

Early voting ends Oct. 31. In addition to the Monday-Friday voting, Saturday, Oct. 25, has been also been designated a voting day for the Nov. 4 elections.
