DAWSONVILLE -- Dawson County and Cedartown split the first two games of their best-of-three Class AAA second round girls softball series.<br />

Region 7-AAA No. 1 seed Dawson County the opening game 3-2 in 9 innings but Cedartown responded with a 6-1 victory in game 2 to send the series to a deciding third game.<br />

Game 3 of the series is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday at dawson County High School.
