Cross country: Chestatee's Grater takes 2nd at Sharptop Invitational

JASPER -- Chestatee freshman Lindsey Grater continues to impress in 2014.<br /> <br /> Grater took second in a field of 106 Saturday at the Sharptop Invitational. Grater completed the 5K course with a time of 19:37.75.<br /> <br /> On the boy's side, Jack Carnes (17:36.43) and Ivan Martin (17:45.53) placed in the top 20 finishing 17th and 19th respectively. Logan Brock was 26th overall out of 187 runners with a time of 17:75.11.<br /> <br /> The Sharptop venue showcased 25 teams from across the state and in all classifications.<br /> <br /> Chestatee completes the regular season at the Harrier Harvest Invitational in Tallulah Falls on Tuesday and heads to the Region 8-AAAA meet on October 30th in Helen.
