WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) -- A middle Georgia man is fighting local officials for a license to operate a home-based business that sells guns to customers online.
The Macon Telegraph reports ( http://bit.ly/115HwTN ) Brian Gross of Bonaire has twice been denied a business license by Houston County commissioners. He hopes to succeed this month after a Superior Court judge Wednesday ordered commissioners to grant the license, saying they had no legitimate reason to deny Gross' application.

Commission Chairman Tommy Stalnaker said he expects commissioners will approve the license at their next meeting Oct. 21 and won't appeal.
Gross' attorney, Kelly Burke, accused commissioners of denying the license because they're "scared of guns." But county officials say Gross' business plan would violate a local ordinance barring home-based retailers from shipping items to or from their houses.
