GAINESVILLE - The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced next week's road maintenance plans for northeast Georgia next week.<br />

Most activities will only require shoulder or median lane closures. <br />
<br />
WHEN: The Columbus Day Holiday is Monday so crews will work Tuesday, October 14 through Friday, October 17. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Lane closures are required for patching asphalt, a flagman or pilot vehicle will direct traffic through the work zone.<br />
