Many people in north Georgia - including Gainesville - woke up to the first frost of the season Sunday morning. And, temperatures in most places plunged into the 30s by daybreak for the first time this fall.<br />

Lows Sunday night are not expected to be nearly as cold with readings mostly in the 40s and 50s. Highs will gradually warm into the low 80s toward the weekend.
