HCPC recommends denial of boat storage request

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Planning Commission has recommended denial of a request for a boat storage facility on Mountain View Road.

County Planning Director Srikanth Yamala confirmed Tuesday that the board voted without comment Monday night to reject Tim Whitmire's request. The application has been strongly opposed by people who live in the area where the facility would be located.

The matter is now scheduled to go before the Hall County Commission on Jan. 23.
