CLARKESVILLE - Students who earn an associate's degree in Photography from North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) can now use their academic credits toward a four-year bachelor's degree at Piedmont College.

The two schools recently signed an articulation agreement that makes it possible for NGTC graduates to transfer some course credits to Piedmont. Photography graduates have the opportunity to enter Piedmont as degree-completion students, which means that they can complete the bachelor's degree program with a major in Art in two years if they attend full time.

Piedmont and NGTC have signed similar agreements that allow the transfer of credits for students enrolled in business, nursing, and criminal justice classes.
