CLEVELAND -- Buford pounded out a season-high 19 hits t take a 17-0 win over White County in four innings Wednesday in Region 7-AAA girls softball action.
Morgan Walters and Tessa Daniels each had three hits and three RBI and combined to score five runs to pace the Buford offense.
Walters highlighted a six-run first inning for the Lady Wolves (18-1, 9-0 Region 7-AAA)with a three-run home run.
Junior pitcher Bria Bush improved to 6-1 on the season yielding just one hit and striking out seven in three innings of work. Daniels pitched the final inning giving up no hits or runs.
The Lady Wolves extended their lead to 10-0 in the second inning. They put the gam away with a seven-run fourth inning.
Buford next will play hosts to a doubleheader on Saturday against Jefferson and Georgia Military College.
