BRASELTON - Ceremonial ribbon cuttings were recently held for two of Braselton's newest businesses.

The Ivy Cottage on Brassie Lane features handmade jewelry, local art, soaps, lotions, salts, home decor and accessory items. Connie Conrad is the owner and believes "a gift from the heart should be unique and given with genuine love." Hours are 10:00-5:00 Tuesday thru Saturday.
Kristi's Country Store is also on Brassie Lane featuring antiques, collectibles, daily lunch, old-fashioned candies and soft drinks along with local art. Kristi McCook started collecting country store items as a hobby and formerly owned a sandwich shop in Lawrenceville. "I was fortunate enough to find the perfect building in Braselton to fulfill my dream of owning a country store with a restaurant," she says.
Mayor Bill Orr welcomed the stores at their ribbon cuttings, saying "It is great to see the revitalization of our downtown area realized. The opening of these businesses helps define the vibrancy of our downtown area."
Members of the Braselton Downtown Development Authority helped welcome the new businesses. For additional information, visit www.DowntownBraselton.com.
