GAINESVILLE - The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia's (HSNEGA's) annual "Blessing of the Animals" will be held Sunday, Oct. 6, at 4:00.<br />

Officials say well-behaved pets/animals of all shapes and sizes are welcome to attend as long as they are appropriately restrained. It will be held on the campus of Brenau University across from Grace Episcopal Church, sponsored by the church and the HSNEGA.<br />

There is no charge but donations for the HSNEGA also will be accepted. <br />
