DAHLONEGA -- West Hall continued its solid start to the season Friday night with a 49-21 whipping of Lumpkin County on the road.
The Spartans (2-1) wracked up over 500 yards of offense, including 421 on the ground.
Kwon Williams paced West Hall with 202 yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries. Tyquan Statham added 114 yards and one score on just three carries for the Spartans.
Big plays were the norm for West Hall getting 73- and 75-yard TD runs from Williams while Statham added a 63-yard TD run. Zach English also threw a pair of TD passes, both to Hunter Atkinson for 9 and 22 yards.
Lumpkin County (0-3) got an 11-yard TD run from Daniel McCrary, a 54-yard TD run from Timmy Summersett, and a 26-yard TD run from Gunner Wood, all in the second half.
It is the first 3-0 start for the Spartans since 2008.
