OAKWOOD -- The Johnson girls volleyball team won a tough Area 8-AAAAA match against Monroe Area but fell to North Oconee in a tri-match Tuesday night.
The Lady Knights held off Monroe Area in three sets but was swept in straight sets by North Oconee.
Kelly Chance had solid night with 10 aces, nine assists, and five digs for Johnson. Brooke Balenger added seven kills and five digs for the Lady Knights.
Kasey Gravitt had five kills and Cassie McDonald had four kills and five digs for Johnson.
The Lady Knights (5-13, 2-1 Area 8-AAAAA) next will travel to East Hall for a play date on Saturday.
