OAKWOOD -- Gainesville rallied from five runs down to beat Johnson 7-5 Wednesday in girls softball action.
The Lady Elephants (4-8) trailed 5-0 after the Knights knocked Kara England out of the game. England recorded four strikeouts before being relieved by Kayla Street.
Street would fan seven and get the win in relief as the offense got cranked up.
Kayla Montague paced Gainesville with four hits. Courtney Presnell, Street, England, and Tyra Newton all had two hits on the night for Gainesville.
The Lady Elephants will be back in action Thursday traveling to take on Heritage in Conyers in a Region 8-AAAAA contest.
