GAINESVILLE -- Gainesville got a run in the bottom of the seventh to rally for a 4-3 win over Chestatee Thursday in girls softball action.
Kayla Street got the win in the circle for Gainesville (3-7) striking out 11.
Whitney Ledford lead the Lady Elephants' offense with three hits and two RBI. Street and Kayla Montague each had one hit and one RBI or Gainesville.
Gainesville is off until next Tuesday when it will play host to Apalachee in a Region 8-AAAAA contest.
