By The Associated Press
NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) Authorities have identified a fisherman who fell into the Chattahoochee River as 69-year-old Thomas Luckett of Dunwoody.

Gwinnett County fire officials said they pulled his body from river around 1:30 p.m. Thursday near Jones Bridge Park in the Norcross area.

Authorities say he fell from a 12-foot long boat when it hit a submerged tree limb and the impact sent him overboard. Officials say the man was unable to swim and was not wearing a life-jacket.
