FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls softball team continued its slid play Tuesday with a 14-2 rout of Gainesville in Region 8-AAAAA action.
Jessica Thomas got the win striking out three and allowing no runs in three innings.
Kelly Kahlert and Bailey Sims each had two hits and three RBI to lead the Lady Falcons offense. Casey Zoeller also had two hits and sophomore Johanna Earnhart had one hit.
The Lady Falcons improved to 9-3 overall and 2-1 in region play.
