DAHLONEGA -- Johnson got its first Region 8-AAAA win of the season Tuesday splitting a tri-match on the road.
The Lady Knights beat Eastside 25-15, 25-23 after falling to Lumpkin County 25-20, 25-22 in the opening match.
Brooke Balenger paced Johnson with 13 kills and four aces. Katie Williams had three aces and four kills, Kelly Chance had six assists, four kills and four digs, and Kasey Gravitt added two aces and four digs for the Lady Knights.
Johnson (3-11, 1-1 Region 8-AAAA) next will play host to Lakeview Academy and North Hall and Thursday.
