Softball: East Hall routs West Hall in 7-AAA action

OAWOOD -- East Hall used an 11-run third inning to blow open a close game en route to a 13-1 win over West Hall Tuesday in Region 7-AAA action.

The Lady Vikings (4-1, 2-0 Region 7-AAA) jumped out t a quick lead in the first and never let up.

Kali Turner supplied n RBI double in the first inning. She would finis with three RBIs on a double and a home un for the game.

Kaitlyn Poole struck out seven to get the win for East Hall. She scattered four hits and walked none in four innings of work.

In the big third inning, Josie Coker had a three-run double, scoring Turner, Chelsea Dale, and Erika Lopez.

East Hall will be back in action Wednesday against Gainesville at Lanier Point in another Region 7-AAA contest.
