Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Saturday at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church for Geoffrey Peter Sarazen, the grandson of golfing legend Gene Sarazen and former golf pro at Chateau Elan in Braselton.
Sarazen, who was 40, and lived in Dacula, died Tuesday.
A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Sarazen served as golf pro and Director of Golf at Chateau Elan Golf Club from 1993-2004 and most recently was the owner of SPP Concrete Company.
Chateau Elan once hosted a professional golf tournament named after Sarazen's grandfather.
