BALDWIN - A Baldwin man injured in a single-car crash just over a week ago has died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Authorities said 32-year-old Michael Justin Cape died on Saturday, eight days after the August 2 crash on Highway 198 in Banks County.
At the time of the accident, the Georgia State Patrol said Cape lost control of his vehicle just after 7:30 p.m. August 2 near Hill Road, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree on the driver's side.
No one else was in the vehicle.
The Georgia State Patrol said Cape had been cited for driving under the influence.
