GAINESVILLE - The Air Conditioning Department of Lanier Technical College (LTC) is now offering a new Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC). This program is accredited by NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) and is designed as a traditional apprenticeship.
Students must have an air conditioning contractor as a sponsor and must be employed in the HVAC industry. The training moves the apprentice through four levels of training ending at Journeyman. The curriculum is the NCCER national curriculum for HVAC workers. All Lanier Technical College instructors for the Apprenticeship Program are industry-certified through the NCCER.
The NCCER HVAC program is the only NATE-certified curriculum in the nation designed for training of HVAC industry workers. All students will be issued national credentials and be listed in a nationwide database, allowing credit transferability to all fifty states.
