Blairsville escapee recaptured

HAYESVILLE, N.C.- A Blairsville man who escaped from a North Carolina prison is back behind bars, according to authorities.

John Douglas Graham, 48, who scaled a fence at the Clay County Detention Center near Hayesville, N.C on Sunday, was recaptured Monday night in Clay County.

Authorities did not release details on the capture.

Graham had been jailed on child molestation charges, according to authorities. At the time, he was being held on $500,000, but authorities said Graham's bond has now been set at $1 million.
