GAINESVILLE - The annual patriotic celebration at Lakewood Baptist in Gainesville will honor<br />
active military and all veterans in the region on Sunday, June 30.<br />

Services will begin at 9:30 and 11:00 and will salute active and retired members of the nation's<br />
armed forces. The Hall County Sheriff's honor guard will present the colors and worshippers<br />
will enjoy a 30-piece orchestra and multi-generational choir performing military service anthems and other patriotic songs.<br />
<br />
Bill Risinger is Lakewood's minister of music who will direct the services. He said, "It is always a blessing to give thanks to God for the opportunity to live in such a great nation!"<br />
