Ralston moves up to finish ninth at GSGA Junior Championships

ROCKY FACE -- Gainesville's Spencer Ralston fired a 3-over 75 to move into a tie for ninth on Wednesday, the final round of the Georgia State Golf Association's Junior Championship at The Farm in Rocky Face.

Ralston finished at 10-over, behind the pace set by Dunwoody's Marcus Byrd, who won the event with a three-day total of 215 to finish 1-under.

Ralston's high school teammates also finished the day inside the top 50, including Grant Lasseter, who finished at 15-over. Lawson King also climbed the leaderboard on Wednesday, finishing with a round of 1-under 71 to come in at 16-over after three rounds. Nathan Williams also finished at 19-over, while Jackson Bishop came in at 20-over.

White County's Garrett Rowland also finished at 22-over, while North Hall's Hunter Young also carded at 29-over.
