OAKWOOD -- Johnson High announced Wednesday that Jared Hodge will be taking over the Knights baseball program.
Hodge his no stranger to Hall County. He graduated from North Hall in 2004 and worked with North Hall coach Trent Mongero from 2007-09 while attending the University of North Georgia. He graduated from North Georgia in 2009.
After graduation, he spent one season under Jimmy Lawler at Flowery Branch before becoming the pitching coach at Habersham Central in 2010. He spent the last three seasons with the Raiders.
Hodge was hired after former coach Tony Wilson resigned last month after being arrested on a charge of public indecency stemming from an on-campus incident.
