North Georgia Theatre at Piedmont brings music to the mountains

DEMOREST - "The 1940s Radio Hour" and "My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra" are the feature productions of North Georgia Theatre's (NGT) summer season at Piedmont College. Both plays will be performed at the Swanson Center in Demorest from June 20-30.<br />

"The 1940s Radio Hour," a comedy about making a radio show, will have you laughing and tapping your foot to tunes like "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "Black Magic," and "I Got It Bad." It runs June 20, 22, and 28 at 7:30 p.m., and June 30 at 2 p.m.<br />

"My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra" tells the story of his career through more than 40 of his best songs. You'll hear favorites like "South of the Border," "Fly Me to the Moon," and "Strangers in the Night." It runs June 21, 27, and 29 at 7:30 p.m., and June 23 at 2 p.m.<br />
