Lula sets three public hearings for budget

LULA - The city of Lula wants some public input on its budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

City officials have scheduled public hearings for the next three Mondays to get comment from taxpayers on the $683,339 General Fund budget plan for Fiscal Year 2014.

The hearings will be held Monday, June 3 at 1 p.m., Monday, June 10 at 5 p.m. and Monday, June 17 just before the Lula City Council meeting.

City officials say they also will take comment on the utility fund budget on those dates.
