Lumpkin County's Brittany Stewart was named girls co-player of the year, while Chestatee, Johnson and Stephens County each placed a number of standouts on the 2013 8-AAAA All-Region tennis team.<br />

Chestatee's doubles team of Blaine Brown/Juan Carrion was named to the first team, while Stephens County singles players Brett Williams and Austin Simmons were named to the boys second team. Chestatee's Jonathan Cook, Jeremiah Reed and Teddy Werner were also named to the third team, along with War Eagles doubles pairing of Reed Johnson/Casey Atkins. Stephens County's Steven Whitworth was also on the third team.<br />

On the girls side, Fernanda Arcaraz was named to the second team, along with the doubles team of Grace Brown/Haley King. And Johnson's Kalyn Dumanowsky/Marissa Rodriguez were on the third team.
