Softball: Spartans name Rich as new coach

OAKWOOD -- West Hall will have a new girls softball coach for the first time in more than a decade.

West Hall Athletic Director Scott Justus announced Tuesday that Adam Rich, currently the head softball coach at Chiles High School in Florida, will replace longtime coach Warren Sellers.

Sellers resigned from his softball position following the 2012 season.

Rich has coached girls softball for 11 years. His teams made the playoffs four consecutiv seasons, including back-to-back Final Four appearances. He has had 15 players softball scholarships during his time as coach.
