NE Ga well-represented in ACCG leadership

ATLANTA - Northeast Georgia is well-represented among the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) Board of Managers.

In fact, the new President of the group is Dawson County Commission Chairman Mike Berg. In addition, Dawson County Attorney Joey Homans of Gainesville serves as President of the County Attorneys' Section, an ex-officio position, and White County Commissioner Edwin Nix is the District 2 Representative on the board.

Other northeast Georgians with key roles on the Board of Managers are from Union, Oconee, Elbert, and Gwinnett counties.

Georgia House Speaker David Ralston installed the 2013-2014 ACCG Board of Managers during the association's 2013 Annual Conference held recently at the Savannah Civic Center.
