Track: Dozens of competitors qualify for state championships in sectionals

It was a busy and impressive weekend for the area's top track athletes, as numerous standouts battled their way through sectional qualifiers and into the state finals.

Boys competitors that finished in the top half of their respective sectional meets booked a place in the "Georgia Olympics," which will take place Thursday-Saturday in Jefferson.

Meanwhile, girls competitors will make their state finals appearance May 9-11 in Albany.
