Soccer: NGC girls finishes regular season with win

GAINESVILLE -- The North Georgia Christian girls soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a 2-0 win over Unity Christian Monday at Allen Creek.

The Lady Chargers (10-4) next will travel to McDonough on Thursday to take on New Creation Christian Academy in the opening round of the ICSGA state playoffs.

Against Unity, Nicole Ball scored off an assist from Sarah Rhodes in the first half, and Esther Lloyd converted a penalty kick in the second half for North Georgia Christian.

Georgia Clark got the shutout in goal with defensive assistance from Jordan Ball, Rachel MacLagan, and Morgan Johnson.
