CUMMING -- The North Georgia Christian Lady Chargers soccer team defeated the Horizon Christian Academy Lady Warriors 1-0 on Monday in Cumming.
After a scoreless first 39 minutes, the Lady Chargers struck with less than 10 seconds to play in the half with a goal from Nicole Ball.
Georgia Clark preserved the shutout in goal for NGC with strong defensive help from Jordan Ball, Esther Lloyd, Rachel MacLagan, and Morgan Johnson.
The Lady Chargers are now 8-3 on the season and will play again on Thursday at the Allen Creek Soccer Complex in Gainesville against Heritage Christian Academy.
