JHS left in the dark after construction crew clips lines

OAKWOOD- Johnson High School was left in the dark after a construction crew accidentally cut power and phone lines Tuesday morning.

Hall County School System spokesman Gordon Higgins said students were safe and calm, and he said they were able able to attend class and eat lunch during the outage.

Higgins said the lines were cut around 11:20 a.m. and power restored at 12:45 p.m.
