AT&T LTE expands in Hall Co.

By Staff
ATLANTA - AT&T has expanded its 4G LTE network in north Georgia into Hall County, bringing more customers the latest generation of wireless network technology.

AT&T launched 4G LTE in Atlanta and Athens in the fall of 2011 and in Gainesville in the summer of 2012, and the expanded coverage is part of its ongoing roll-out across the area.

"For most of us, we couldn't survive without our wireless phone. Whether we are keeping up with family or conducting business, we need fast reliable service and I am very pleased to help announce that AT&T LTE service is now available in the North Hall area," said State Senator Butch Miller. "LTE enables faster internet service than many of us have through the wires in our homes. This will open up new possibilities and provide new services for schools, doctors, businesses and others in our community."

"We've seen positive response from customers on our 4G LTE launch, and as today's expansion shows, we're continuing our rollout of fast 4G LTE speeds to more areas of northeast Georgia, including Hall County," said Paul Chambers, AT&T Regional Director of External Affairs.
