Baseball: Falcons hit five HRs in rout of Salem

CONYERS -- Flowery Branch played long ball Friday in a five-inning, 15-3 win over Salem in Region 8-AAAAA play.

Dylan Gibeau and Jonathon Hughes each blasted a pair of home runs and Drew Miles hit a two-run home run to pace the Falcons offense.

Gibeau finished with six RBI and Hughes had four RBI for Flowery Branch (10-6, 5-2 Region 8-AAAAA).

Andrew Weekley picked up the win for the Falcons allwing just two runs in five innings or work.

The two teams next will meet Monday in Flowery Branch.
