Soccer: Valentine hat trick paces Lions

GAINESVILLE -- Rick Valentine recorded a hat trick to lead the Lakeview Academy boys to a 6-0 whitewash of George Walton Academy Thursday in Region 8-A soccer action.

Carter Ross, Nathan Zottnick and Chance Calderhead each had one goal for the Lions (6-3, 3-1 Region 8-A),

Tyler Kimball had three assists, and Chandler Fox, Zottnick and Christian Reinhardt had one assist apiece for Lakeview.
