Tennis: Chestatee boys net win over Johnson

GAINESVILLE -- The Chestatee boys tennis team did not drop a set in taking a 5-0 win over Johnson Thursday in Region 8-AAAA action.

Jonathan Cook beat Cameron Kinser 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Jeremiah Reed whipped Bradley Barker 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, and Teddy Werner held off Grayson Anthony 7-6, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.

In doubles, the No. 1 team of Blaine Brown and Juan Carrion beat Jacob Holland and Caleb Herrin 6-1, 6-2 and the No. 2 team of Reed Johnson and Casey Atkins beat Man Chung and Josh Butler 6-3, 6-0.
