Gainesville's football champs honored at State Capitol

ATLANTA -- Members of Gainesville High's Class AAAAA championship football team were recently honored by state officials at the State Capitol in Atlanta.

Red Elephants coaches and players were recognized after winning the program's first GHSA championship, going 12-3 and defeating Ware County 49-13 in December in the Georgia Dome.
