Some Hall healthcare students headed to national competiton

GAINESVILLE - Students from Chestatee, Flowery Branch, Johnson and West Hall high schools recently competed at the State Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Conference in Athens - and some will now be heading to the national competition.

These students placed in the Top 10 in their competitive events:

· 1st place, Lucas Hernandez, West Hall, CPR and First Ai

· 1st place, Cassie Kornstadt, West Hall, CPR and First Aid

· 2nd place, Yennifer Clarin, West Hall, Medical Terminology

· 2nd Place, Emily Coughlin, Flowery Branch High, Healthy Lifestyles

· 2nd Place Kristin McCole, Flowery Branch High, Pharmacology

· 3rd place, Joe Tackett, West Hall, Healthy Lifestyles

· 4th place, Marisa Ottiviano, West Hall, Medical Reading

· 4th place, Zach Johnson, Flowery Branch High, CERT
