GAINESVILLE - The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for both the 2012-2013 Small Business of the Year and the 2012-2013 Family Business of the Year.
The small business award is presented to an outstanding small business and Greater Hall Chamber member with 50 or less employees. The Family Business of the Year is awarded to a family-owned business that has operated for 25 or more years. Highland Mountain Beverage received the 2011-2012 Small Business of the Year Award, and J & J Foods was recognized as last year's Family Business of the Year. A member may nominate their business or another member. All nominations must be received by Friday, April 19.
Award winners will be recognized at the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting & Gala on Thursday, May 9 at the Chattahoochee Country Club. Along with the presentation of business awards, the event will include an outdoor reception and a dinner buffet. Other awards to be presented are the Community Service Award, the prestigious W.G. Mealor Award and Silver Shovel Awards.
