Tennis: Buford boys blank West Hall in 7-AAA

BUFORD -- The Buford boys tennis team took a 5-0 win over West Hall Tuesday in Region 7-AAA action at Buford City Park.

In singles, Nicholas Becker beat Tatum Scroggs 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) at No. 1 while Skylar Wilson defeated Max Wilson 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. Alex Turner beat Austin Dyer 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.

In doubles, Colby West and Rob Hunter beat Grayson Kyle and Min Kim 6-2, 6-2
at No. 1 and Josh Thompson and David Petroni beat Connor Kirkland and Kip O'Kelley 7-5, 7-5 at No. 2 doubles,

West Hall fell to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in region play. The Spartans next will play host to White County on Thursday.
