GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team made coach Seth Vining's final home game one to remember Tuesday night.
Joel Larsen sank a free throw in the final second to left the Lions to a thrilling 61-60 win over Pincrest Academy.
Austin Montgomery led Lakeview (17-6, 10-2 Region 8A-A) with 23 points. Zach Montgomery, Rick Valentine, and Larsen each scored eight points for the Lions.
Lakeview will travel to Athens Christian on Thursday for a make-up game between the top two teams in Region 8-A.
