CANTON -- North Forsyth exploded on offense in taking a 62-47 win over Cherokee Friday night.
The Lady Raiders opened the game with a 21-9 first quarter run and then outscored Cherokee 22-12 in the second quarter en route to the big win.
Caroline Bowns poured in 13 points to lead North Forsyth (12-0). Avery Scarbrough added 12 points and nine rebounds and Lochlain Corliss had 11 points for the Lady Raiders.
CXherokee made the score closer than it was outscoring North Forsyth 18-11 in the fourth quarter.
