JEFFERSON - A Jefferson man has been arrested on theft charges after Jackson County authorities found two stolen rifles in his possession.
Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum said Friday 19-year-old Kevin Todd Autry was arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into a burglary that occurred in Walton County. Mangum said a number of firearms were stolen in the break-in, and several had already been recovered.
Autry was arrested December 18.
