GAINESVILLE - City of Gainesville and Hall County offices will be closed Dec. 24-25 for Christmas and plans for garbage pickup next week in the city and operating hours for the county landfill and trash compactor sites have been announced.
City officials say no garbage or recycling will be picked up on these two days.
All recycling will be picked up on Thursday, December 26. Tuesday's garbage will be picked up on Friday, December 27.
The landfill and Hall County Recycing Center will be closed Dec. 24, Dec. 25 and New Year's Day. County offices will also be closed New Year's Day. Compactor sites will be closed Christmas Day only.
