ATLANTA - Georgia DOT Tuesday announced road resurfacing projects for State Route 60 in Hall and Lumpin counties and a Barrow County company has bee chosen to build a new bridge over a railroad in South Georgia.<br />

The work in Hall and Lumpkin counties will be done by C.W. Matthews Contracting Co. of Marietta. The total cost for the two projects is just over two million dollars.<br />

G.P.'S Enterprises, Inc. of Auburn is the firm chosen to construct a new bridge above CSX Railroad tracks on a re-aligned portion of State Route 90 south of Ideal in western Macon County.<br />
