BLUE RIDGE -- Dawson County held Fannin County to just five fourth quarter points to pull away for a 46-32 victory Tuesday night in Region 7-AAA boys action.
The Tigers (4-0, 1-0 Region 7-AAA) led just 34-27 heading into the fourth quarter but outscored the Rebels 12-5 to blow the game open. Dawson County led 9-5 after the first quarter and then took a 24-18 lead into halftime.
Lucas Pain led the Tigers with 12 points. Sam Munchin added 10 points for Dawson County.
Fannin County was led Will Holloway and Austin Williams with eight points apiece.
